Biography:
I’m ranked in the top 3 legal directory consultants in the world. I regularly deliver seminars, host presentations and round tables on the legal directory submissions process. Kidd Aitken works with leading law firms around the world advising Partners, legal marketing and business development teams on everything to do with legal directory submissions. From how to strategise to helping them understand the importance of a persuasive submission, and the crucial roles of client and peer feedback. We have a talented, international 50-strong team comprising former editors and researchers from Chambers, The Legal 500 and other specialist legal directories. With coordinators who are dedicated to maximising the results of the post-submission process. With more than 16 years’ experience in the legal sector, I co-founded Kidd Aitken in 2015 with a vision to create the world’s largest legal directory consultancy. I began my career as a researcher and then editor at Chambers and Partners. A highlight was launching the first Chambers Asia-Pacific guide in Singapore in 2008 and editing the subsequent two guides. On leaving Chambers I set up my own legal marketing consultancy, Kidd Consulting, which assisted local and international law firms across the world with their legal directory rankings. Meanwhile, my colleague and long-time friend Jacob Aitken had followed a similar path, also setting up his own consultancy. After a time, we realised we were stronger together.
