Organization Description: I offer board-level support to firms looking to grow, develop and improve their legal business. Specifically, I speak at conferences and events, conduct practice reviews, facilitate partner retreats and offer ongoing advisory support.
Biography:
In 1984, I qualified as a Solicitor in England. After practising law for five years, I switched to executive consulting via business school and a stint at one of the UK’s leading advertising agencies. For the past thirty years, my work has centred on the legal services sector, helping lawyers, legal professionals, law firm executives and in-house counsel to refresh and refocus their organisations. During that time, I have worked with clients in over a dozen countries across five continents. Today, most of my work is focussed on conducting practice reviews, facilitating planning retreats, speaking at conferences and events and presenting workshops aimed at improving leadership and management skills. I also host the annual Future Firm Forum in Queenstown, New Zealand. My mission is to bring ideas, insights and inspiration to legal professionals so that they can develop a flourishing business and enjoy a rewarding life. I have authored four books, including my latest, - 'The Heart of Practice - leadership principles for legal professionals' published in 2023. I am a member of the international Law Consultancy Network. I invite enquiries from legal professionals and law firms in all parts of the globe.
