Biography:

Dr. Larry Richard practiced law as a litigator for ten years. He then changed careers and earned a Ph.D. in Psychology at Temple University. His doctoral dissertation investigated the personality traits of over 3000 lawyers in a nationwide statistically valid sample of US lawyers. His data showed that the people who enter the law are markedly different from members of the general public. Lawyers possess 7 atypical personality traits that make them very effective as lawyers. But those same traits pose some challenges to their effectiveness in other roles. Dr. Richard has gathered personality data on over 25,000 lawyers worldwide. He uses that data to provide unique management consulting services to large law firms and Fortune 100 law departments around the world.
